Guitar Tuition for Academic Year 2023-2024
We are pleased to announce that the school now offers Guitar Lessons, which will be provided by BGuitar.
Ben Goddard graduated from The Academy of Contemporary Music in 2008 and has since started up a teaching business helping over 100 guitar players and musicians a week. Aside from teaching, Ben performs at festivals and venues all over the UK with his band and writes and produces records in the studio. Some of the bands he has played with include: Sam Smith, Ella Eyre, London Grammar, Bastille, and Clean Bandit.
Owen Feeney, a new member of BGuitar, also offers a huge amount of experience, both as an incredible musician and brilliant teacher.
Ben or Owen, and sometimes both, will teach your child everything they need to know on guitar from the basics, right up to performing well known songs, and even writing their own music. Lessons are never boring, always fun and highly productive!
Lessons will include:
- Technical Development (chords, scales, rhythm and lead)
- Music Theory & Reading
- Session styles (Rock, Pop, Funk, Blues, Spanish & Classical)
- Songwriting
- Pre-Production (learning songs!)
- Singing (Optional)
- Performance (End of Year Concert / Xmas Concert)
If you would like your child to receive guitar lessons, please email Ben directly: ben@bengoddard.co.ukto find out more and reserve your child a place. Guitar lessons are extremely popular and spaces are limited, so please make sure you get in touch soon.
